We
are a small family with big dreams. Originally from Canada, we have made
our way to Belize to pursue our ambitions. Our family consists of myself
(Tara), my husband Todd and our two boys, Dayton 4 years and Jack 8 months.
We are currently living in Belize building custom designed vacation homes.
OUR LOVE FOR TRAVEL
Todd
and I started our life together traveling first through Mexico and Central
America and then through Asia. We both dreamed of a day when we could
make a permanent or semi-permanent move abroad. We were fortunate enough
to be from a beautiful spot in Canada, Victoria BC, where we lived and
worked for six years prior to relocating to Belize. It was during this
time that we discovered our passion for renovating homes and decided that
we would like to build homes for a living. The logical next step for us
was to invest abroad. We
traveled to Belize in early 2006 and fell in love with this magnificent
country. After much research, Belize became the obvious place for us to
invest.
WHY
WE CHOSE BELIZE
Now
that our dream to relocate abroad has become a reality we are looking
towards the future. We currently own three properties on the Placencia
Peninsula in Belize. We look forward to selling our custom built homes
and land. We hope to find investors that, like us, are interested in a
sound investment and owning their very own little piece of paradise.
While
we are working in Belize we are fortunate enough to be able to enjoy all
of the wonderful things this country has to offer, a big part of why we
chose Belize in the first place. Since Belize is a very small country
all of its exciting adventures, from the barrier reef, to the Mayan ruins
and the incredible jungle are within a couple of hours of one another.
I
could not even begin to describe all that Belize has to offer on this
website; so I have included a link to the Belize Tourism Board website
that gives a wonderful overview of all of the great things to see and
do here: Belize

Below
are a few photos of our favorite things about Belize! Escape with Us!
One of
the many spectacular jungle rivers, great for canoeing, swimming and tubing.
If it is Mayan
Ruins you fancy, Belize has many sites like Lamanai that make for wonderful
day trips (left). Tikal, is the main Mayan site in Central America and
is just over the Guatemalan boarder (right).
Placencia has
what some boast to be the best beaches in Belize.
Does wildlife
excite you? While in Belize you can be sure to see howler monkeys during
your jungle trek and if you are lucky you may even spot a jaguar. What
you don't see in the wild you can view at the Belize Zoo. The zoo prides
itself in keeping animals in their natural habitats and reintegrating
them into the wild whenever possible.
Snorkeling
in Belize is spectacular. Whether you kayak to False Caye (left) or take
a 1/2 hour boat ride to Laughing Bird Caye (right) you are sure to see
an abundance of sea life.
